Moderated by Charles Breton, executive director of the Centre of excellence on the Canadian federation, with insights from Irene Bloemraad, professor at the University of British Colombia, and Mireille Paquet, membre of ERIQA and professor at the Concordia University, this discussion will examine what may change, what will remain contested, and how decisions made in 2026 could have lasting impacts on Canada’s economy, institutions and social cohesion.
