SUMMARY:Temporary Foreign Agricultural Workers & Heat Resilience: Exploring equitable co-designed tools
DESCRIPTION:Le Centre collaboratif pour le climat\, la santé et les soins durables vous convie à la première session du cycle « Impacts climatiques sur la santé et l’équité en matière de santé » du réseau ECHO Santé planétaire et soins durables. Cette session portera sur des outils de résilience face à la chaleur\, conçus conjointement et axés sur l’équité\, destinés aux travailleurs agricoles étrangers temporaires basés au Québec. Cet événement aura lieu le 14 avril 2026\, de 12h00 à 13h00 sur zoom. \nLa discussion sera animée par Laura Gautier\, membre de l’ÉRIQA\, professeure adjointe à l’École de santé publique de l’Université de Montréal et chercheuse régulière au Centre de recherche en santé publique et à l’Institut de recherche SHERPA à Montréal\, et Robinson Vásquez\, travailleur agricole au Québec. \nVeuillez noter que la discussion aura lieu en anglais. This session will explore equity-centred\, co-designed heat resilience tools for temporary foreign agricultural workers based in Quebec.  This event will take place on April 14th 2026\, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on zoom.  \nThe discussion will be led by Laura Gautier\, member of ÉRIQA\, assistant professor at the University of Montreal’s School of Public Health and a regular researcher at the Centre for Public Health Research and the SHERPA Research Institute in Montreal\, as well as Robinson Vásquez\, a agricultural worker in Quebec. \nThe discussion will be held in English.
