DESCRIPTION:L’ÉRIQA\, le Centre Jean Monnet (CJM) et le CRIDAQ vous convient à la conférence “Migration comme décolonisation? L’économie politique volatile des migrations et mobilités en Europe” donnée par Adrian Favell\, professeur de théorie et sociale à l’University College Cork\, le vendredi 18 septembre à 12h. \nAdrian Favell est directeur fondateur du Radical Humanities Laboratory de l’University College Cork\, où il est également professeur de théorie sociale et politique. Il est l’auteur de divers ouvrages sur les migrations\, le multiculturalisme\, le cosmopolitisme et les villes\, notamment Philosophies of Integration: Immigration and the Idea of Citizenship in France and Britain (1998)\, Eurostars and Eurocities : Free Movement and Mobility in an Integrating Europe (2008)\, un recueil d’essais intitulé Immigration\, Integration and Mobility : New Agendas in Migration Studies (2015)\, ainsi qu’un ouvrage consacré à la théorie des migrations\, The Integration Nation : Immigration and Colonial Power in Liberal Democracies (2022). Plus récemment\, à l’université de Leeds\, il a dirigé un vaste projet de sociologie politique intitulé « Northern Exposure : Race\, Nation and Disaffection in “Ordinary” Towns and Cities after Brexit » (2019-2022) et a produit un film documentaire\, « From Where We Stand »\, inspiré de ces recherches. Il dirige actuellement le projet ERC AdG MIGMOBS – The Orders and Borders of Global Inequality: Migration and Mobilities in Late Capitalism (2024-2028)\, qui s’appuie en partie sur le Global Mobilities Project du MPC. \n  \nPlus d’informations à venir
